Flotex AcousticPlus Tile/Plank is comprised of a Nylon 6.6 pile above a glass fiber reinforced backing with a recycled polyester acoustic backing. This special backing increases the impact sound reduction to a total of 22 dB and offers a sound absorption of 0.25 which is comparable to most commonly used carpet sheet and tiles. Next to sound absorption, Flotex AcousticPlus Tile/Plank offers a very good shock absorption. This is relevant for areas where people are standing for a long time and where underfoot comfort is important.
