An air handling unit AHU is a unit that helps to maintain indoor temperature and air flow in high quality. Swegons GOLD and SILVER C RX units are designed for comfort ventilation. The reference unit weight of a Swegon AHU in size 070 080 is 2482 kg however the weight can differ between different configurations. In terms of material content an AHU consists primarily of steel aluminium different types of polymer materials insulation materials and electronic components. AHUs are expected to be used for 20 years before they reach the end of life.
