EPD: All purpose sealer, 0.0273 kg/m2, Levelrock® (USG)

USG Levelrock® Brand All Purpose Sealer can be applied to most USG Levelrock engineered cementitious underlayments and USG Durock™ Multi-Use Self-Leveling Underlayments prior to application of floor-covering adhesives to enhance the bond between the underlayment and the adhesive. Just one coat of USG Levelrock All Purpose Sealer is recommended and can be applied by the floor-covering installer or a USG Levelrock authorized applicator. The recommendations of the floor-covering and adhesive manufacturers will supersede those presented here. USG Levelrock All Purpose Sealer is a concentrated formula and must be diluted prior to use. This product is available in 5-gallon pails from USG’s Gypsum, OH facility and in 53-gallon drums and 275-gallon totes from USG’s Walworth, WI facility. Note that coatings typically assessed using the PCR for resinous floor coatings include additional coating layers (i.e. basecoat and topcoat) beyond those manufactured by USG.
