The windows are manufactured with METRA NC 65HES WS/WX/SLIM/HL, NC75HES WS/WX/SLIM/HL and NC90HES WS/WX/HL systems. The profiles are made of aluminium alloy EN AW 6060 (EN 573-3 and EN 755-2) with temper designation T5 according to EN 515, extruded in compliance with the tolerances prescribed by standard EN 12020-2. The systems include thermal break profiles, made of insulating bars of polyamide reinforced with 25% glass fibre. Thermal insulation of the profiles is achieved by inserting special 34 mm to 59 mm reinforced polyamide bars placed between the two separately extruded profile elements. The profiles are assembled by mechanical rolling after knurling the extruded aluminium. The insulating strips can be oven painted at temperatures of up to 180° - 200°C for 15 minutes without alteration. Painting is polyester powder coating. The profiles are of the three-chamber type so that 2 corner cleats or 2 U-bolts can be used in the joints. The frame and sash profiles can accommodate glazing thicknesses from 48 mm in the NC65HES system to 83 mm in the NC90HES system.
