Radar™ Ceramic panels are 100% ceramic-bonded mineral fiber panels that withstand high heat, high humidity, corrosive chemical fumes and steam. They are tested in live steam to withstand applications such as saunas and steam rooms and meet U.S. Coast Guard standards and can be used in high-humidity marine applications. Radar™ Ceramic have a ClimaPlus™ 30-year limited system warranty against visible sag. This product utilizes a ground wet-felted basemat consisting of perlite, mineral wool, paper fiber, starch and clay. These products generally fall under ASTM E1264 Section 5.2 designation as Type III—Mineral base with painted finish. The modifications typically involve modifications to the thickness, density, basemat composition and/or coating package.
