EPD: Concrete and EPS insulation formwork for line foundation, 450 mm, 5.32 kg/m, JACKON RINGMUR (Bewi Insulation Scandinavia)

Jackon Ringmur is easy and quick to assemble, has good isolation abilities, low weight and is a complete system for line foundation. The elements work as a formwork and two-sided insulation of the ringmur. Jackon Ringmur is made with expanded polystyrene (EPS), a common material used for thermal insulation of buildings, including floors, walls and ceilings. It is a polymer foam, consisting of air-filled polystyrene cells. As 98% of the material is air, EPS provides good insulating properties at a low weight. Jackon Ringmur reduces the cold bridge to a minimum. This increases the floor temperature in the border area and improves comfort of living, as well as lowering the use of energy. The elements are delivered in a range of types depending on the use and in four standard heights. This gives a big pool of options to combine the elements and the system is delivered with corner-solutions. Jackon Ringmur is delievered with concrete based fibercement board on the external side. The plate is maintenance free, frost resistant and has a concrete-like surface. It can be used untreated, however there may be color variations, in which case concrete paint could be applied for a complete colored surface.
