EPD: Electrically operated rapid roll door, 2200x2600 - 4000x5000mm, 1.2 mm plastic door leaf, 1400 g/m2, Novo Speed Flex (Novoferm)
The Novo Speed Flex is an electrically operated door, with a balance spring. Its self- supporting construction makes it impact-resistant in both directions. The door leaf is made of 1.2 mm thick polyester- reinforced plastic, available in RAL 1023 / 2009 / 3020 / 5002 / 7038 / 9003 / 9004. The door leaf can have transparent PVC (poly vinyl chloride) windows 600 x 600 mm. The door curtain weighs 1400 g/m2. The horizontal roller is made of aluminium. The closing side of the door leaf consists of a flexible soft bottom beam or an aluminium bottom beam. Extruded aluminium columns ensure the guiding of the door leaf. These columns form a tight unit with the brackets for securing the aluminium roller and plastic protective cover. Doors over 12 m2 have standard door leaf balancing. Operation: The door is driven by an industrial drive unit, integrated within the roller. The control unit is standard equipped with frequency control. An opening speed of 2 m/s and a closing speed of 0.5 m/s can be achieved. Safety features: - An active light curtain (IP65) is supplied to a maximum height of 2500 mm. When the door is open, the safety light curtain detects both moving and stationary objects in the opening and prevents the door from closing. - A flexible bottom beam increases safety. Persons or goods that come into contact with the Flex Edge will suffer little or no damage. Novo Speed Flex is an electrically operated rapid roll door, which features area separation, energy savings, draft exclusion and climate control. The door is suitable for intensively used openings up to 20 m2. It is designed for interior applications in the retail sector, general industry and commercial buildings.
