EPD: Electrically operated rapid roll door, 4300x4300 - 4000x5000mm, 1.2 mm plastic door leaf, 1400 g/m2, Novo Speed Heavy Indoor (Novoferm)
The Novo Speed Heavy Indoor is an electrically operated door, without balance springs. The door leaf is made of horizontal sections of 1.2 mm thick polyester-reinforced plastic, available in RAL 1003 / 2009 / 3020 / 5005 / 7038 / 9003 / 9004. The sections are interconnected by heavy-duty aluminium stiffener/hinge profiles. The door leaf has a transparent PVC (poly vinyl chloride) vision section between 1200 and 2200 mm height from the floor. The door curtain weighs 1400 g/m2. The horizontal roller is made of steel. An aluminium beam with rubber floor profile is attached at the bottom. A self-testing security within the bottom beam ensures that the door stops and immediately opens when during closing it encounters an obstacle. This security is insensitive to moisture. Galvanized U-shaped profiles with brush seals ensure lateral guidance of the door leaf. These columns form a tight unit with brackets for securing of the aluminium roller and drive unit. They are removable for quick and easy installation and maintenance. Operation: The door is driven by an industrial drive unit, integrated within the roller. An opening speed of 1 m/s and a closing speed of 1 m/s can be achieved. Optionally a frequency converter can be ordered. Then the door opens with 1.5 m/s and closes with 0.5 m/s. Safety features: - In case of power failure, the door can be opened manually - Safety photocell in the door opening - Self-testing security in bottom beam - Break away function on bottom beam (option) Novo Speed Heavy Indoor is an electrically operated rapid roll door, which features energy savings, draft exclusion and climate control. The door is suitable for large interior openings up to 36 m2 and normal use. It is designed for interior applications in industrial and non-residential buildings.
