Depending on the application, Flat and Shaped Wire Coating EAF-Base can have, section range, weight range, coating range, tensile range, and different packaging. Flat and Shaped Wire Coating EAF-Base: Galvanized: The Galvanized flat and shaped wire is produced on continuous hot dip galvanizing line by passing prepared coils through a bath of molten zinc. The zinc coating, available in various thicknesses, resists corrosion by providing sacrificial barrier protection. › Protects against aggressive corrosion. › Consistent and even coating. › Perfect coating adherence, even after bending. Corzal®: Corzal® is a high performance, durable alloy offering superior corrosion resistance. › 95% Zinc and 5% Aluminium alloy coating. The addition of aluminium to the zinc only galvanising coating provides corrosion resistance which protects 3 times longer than a zinc only coating. › Requires a thinner coating than a galvanised coating to give the same corrosion protection. › Outstanding corrosion performance. › No alteration of the wire product after bending. › Perfect coating adherence, even after bending.
