EPD: Glazed porcelain stoneware tiles, Group BIIa, 8.5 mm, 19.4 kg/m2 (Saloni)

This EPD describes the environmental information based on a life cycle assessment of a group of tiles from a single manufacturer, CERÁMICA SALONI, S.A., considering the geographical and technical coverage of Spain during 2016. The ceramic tiles included in the study belong to the BIIa water absorption group, according to UNE-EN 14411:2013 (equivalent to ISO 13006:2012); i.e. they have a water absorption between 3% and 6% (Glazed Stoneware tiles). The Glazed Stoneware tiles included in this study comprises different models with different sizes. Specifically, the products sizes considered within the scope of the study are between 8.5 mm and 9.5 mm thick.
