Glulam is used for structural purposes like load bearing beams and pillars. The average moisture ratio of the declared products is 12 % (EN 14298) and made of spruce. Standard product is built up with lamellas with a thickness of 45 mm, why thetheheight is determined by multiples of 45 mm mm. Products with special weight and thickness can be cut. The lamellas are cut to the right dimension and dried to the correct moisture level. The lamellas are then sorted according to strength and are then finger jointed to specified length.
