Product description This Environmental Product Declaration refers to the production of 1m² SW PLUS PUR 140/160 roof element with a lower skin of gypsum plasterboard, and a core of 14 cm rigid Polyurethane (PUR) insulation in between gastight facings. The SW PLUS PUR type element is a combination of a sandwich type element and an OPEN type element. The lower skin is glued to solid wooden ribs of 16 cm. The upper skin of P5 particle board according to CSN EN 312:2003 (loadbearing boads for use in humid conditions) is glued to the insulation core only. Featuring insulation, replacing traditional rafters and incorporating an inner facing board, the roof panel forms an integral part of the roof structure. It can be used for new building and for renovation. 2.2 Application The main application is load-bearing elements for pitched roofs. However, this is no restriction and the elements can alternatively be used as wall or floor elements. The elements shall be subjected to static and quasi-static actions only and are intended to be used in classes 1 and 2 according to EN 1995-1-1/A1. The roof elements are fixed on site on the roof substructure consisting of purlins, ridge purlins and wall plates or directly on trusses. In case of pitched roofs, elements can be covered with tiles, slates or corrugated plates.
