This EPD is for particleboard based products and covers Laminex® low pressure melamine panels pressed onto a Superfine® standard or MR substrate to create Melteca® and Whiteboard products. The Laminex® low pressure laminate is treated at the Hamilton manufacturing site, before it is pressed onto the substrate to make the finished products. Melteca® and Whiteboard panels are typically used in the construction of furniture, cabinets and general-purpose interior building. The overall panel size is 1220mm by 2440 mm and the panels come in various thicknesses (as noted in table). Density of the board is 660 kg/m3 and the moisture content is 7%.
