The reference product is a Low-e double glazing with eventual additional solar control properties. The reference structure is a 4-16-|4 or 4|-16-4 DGU, made of two 4mm flat glass panes, one of which being magnetron coated. This coated pane give the specific thermal properties to the IGU (thermal insulation, light transmission, solar factor). The glass panes are separated by a cavity containing an insulating gas (argon 90%) and assembled with a spacer, desiccant and sealants.
