These panels utilize a wet-felted basemat consisting of perlite, mineral wool, paper fiber and clay. These products generally fall under ASTM E1264-2022 Section 5.2 designation as Type III-Mineral Base with painted finish and ASTM E1264-2023 Section 5.2 designation as Type A1.2-Mineral Base with painted finish.
