EPD: Polypropylene soil stabilization geogrid, 5.74 kg/m2, TX130S (Tensar International Corporation)

Product Name: Tensar TriAx® TX130s, TX7, and TX190L GeogridThe multi-directional properties of Tensar TriAx® geogrids leverage triangular geometry, one of construction´s most stable shapes, to provide greater stability and stiffness. Its ability to efficiently confine aggregate reduces installation costs while improving the overall performance of the structure. The hexagonal geogrid is manufactured from an extruded polypropylene sheet, which is then punched and orientated in three equilateral directions so that the resulting ribs of the triangular apertures have a high degree of molecular orientation which continues through the mass of integral node.Additional features include:- Ideal for subgrade stabilization and optimizing pavement designs- Diagonal ribs that increase the in-plane stiffness- Triangular pattern forms a hexagon to improve how the product absorbs the forces from traffic loading- High aspect ratio provides better interlock with the surrounding aggregate
