EPD: Polypropylene sound reduction membrane for wooden, concrete or corrugated steel deck, 6.35 mm (1/4 in), 0.541 kg/m2 (0.111 lb/ft2), 85.3 kg/m3 (5.32 pcf), Levelrock® Brand SAM-N25™ (USG)

Levelrock® Brand SAM-N12™, SAM-N25™, SAM-N40™ and SAM-N75™ Sound Attenuation Mats provide an economical method of improving the IIC and STC ratings of a variety of subfloors such as plywood, OSB, pre-cast concrete, concrete and corrugated steel deck. The overall thickness of 0.125 in. (SAM-N12), 0.250 in. (SAM-N25) and 0.40 in. (SAM-N40) of each mat can help address overall floor thickness limitations and building code sound requirements, making it ideal for multifamily wood frame construction. Levelrock® Brand SAM-N75™ Sound Attenuation Mat provides an economical method of improving the STC and IIC ratings of wood frame buildings. With a thickness of 3/4 in., this sound mat is ideal for rehab work involving loft-type units where there is no ceiling. These types of installations depend almost exclusively on the performance of the sound mat to attenuate impact noise.
