Twin-Therm® wall and FireWall are site assembled cladding systems. They comprise a Colorcoat® pre-finished steel liner, Therma-quilt non-hygroscopic glass wool insulation and a Colorcoat® pre-finished steel external weathering profile. The system’s design and installation method allows for a continuous run of insulation, minimizing thermal bridging. The fire performance of Therma-quilt is Euroclass ‘A1’ non-combustible to EN 13501-1 [8]. The Twin-Therm® wall and FireWall systems are approved by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) [9] and have been tested to LPS 1181 and attained ‘EXTB’ status (standard construction) along with ‘EXT-A’ for the FW15 FireWall construction.
