EPD: Semi-processed annealed electrical steel strip, 0.5-1.0 mm, 3.83-7.85 kg/m2, Isovac® (Voestalpine)
The declared product is non-grain-oriented electrical steel in semi-processed condition and is sold under the brand name isovac®. The magnetic properties in this product (semi-processed electrical steel) are not finalized following the final production stage at the steelmaker. Semi-processed electrical steel strip is stamped by the customer and must yet undergo a post-annealing process to achieve optimum properties. The following characteristics, among others, can be cited as special material properties: State-of-the-art production lines ensure excellent homogeneity of the material with respect to mechanical, geometric and magnetic qualities. This leads to excellent processability at the customer. The post-annealing process at the customer site eliminates internal stress and defects introduced to the crystal lattice during the stamping process in order to achieve the best magnetic properties.
