EPD: Solid welding wires, 7850 kg/m3 (voestalpine AG)

Welding wires, welding electrodes and rods of voestalpine Böhler Welding Germany GmbH are widely used for joining or cladding of all kinds of alloys. Welding consumables are standardised in codes and standards worldwide to which they comply. There is a variety of wire diameters and assemblies produced dedicated to different applications and welding processes, as defined in the among cited and including the applicable standards. The EPD covers solid wire electrode, solid wire and solid rod products, produced by voestalpine Böhler Welding Germany GmbH, which are classified under the following standards and partly restricted to the mentioned grades: EN ISO 16834:2012, Welding consumables Wire electrodes, wires, rods and deposits for gas shielded arc welding of high strength steels Classification EN ISO 26304:2017, Welding consumables Solid wire electrodes, tubular cored electrodes and electrode flux combinations for submerged arc welding of high strength steels Classification EN ISO 21952:2012, Welding consumables Wire electrodes, wires, rods and deposits for gas shielded arc welding of creep resisting steels Classification EN ISO 24598:2019, Welding consumables Solid wire electrodes, tubular cored electrodes and electrode flux combinations for submerged arc welding of creep resisting steels Classification EN ISO 20378:2018, Welding consumables Rods for gas welding of non-alloy and creep resisting steels Classification (IV, V, Vi, 100, Z only) EN 14700:2022, Welding consumables Welding consumables for hard facing (Fe1, Fe2, Fe3, Fe4 only) and products for additive manufacturing based on the above mentioned standard, like: • 3Dprint AM 62 • 3Dprint AM 70 • 3Dprint AM 80 HD • 3Dprint AM P 22 • 3Dprint AM Tool 40 • 3Dprint AM Tool 45 • 3Dprint AM Tool 55 • 3Dprint AM TS 12 For the placing on the market of the product in the European Union/European Free Trade Association (EU/EFTA) (with the exception of Switzerland) Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 (CPR) applies. The product needs a declaration of performance taking into consideration EN 13479:2017, Welding consumables General product standard for filler metals and fluxes for fusion welding of metallic materials and the CEmarking. Products which are not construction products need no declaration of performance and have no CE marking.
