NORDPAN solid wood panel (NORDPAN-SWP) is a homogenized wood-based plate-like material that is used in engineered structural timber constructions, façade construction, decorative interior design as well as for doors and furniture. NORDPAN-SWP consists of one to five layers made from kilndried coniferous wood laminations which are glued together at their wide faces orthogonally. Due to the bonded crosssectional structure combined with the technically supported strength and stiffness classification of the raw materials, NORDPAN-SWP is characterized by a high product quality. As a result of the industrial manufacturing process, NORDPANSWP exhibits steady mechanical characteristics. Planar NORDPAN-SWP shows a high dimensional stability and can be characterized as a largely crack-minimized building material. For the placing on the market of the product in the European Union/European Free Trade Association (EU/EFTA) (with the exception of Switzerland) Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 /CPR applies. The product needs a Declaration of Performance taking into consideration EN 13986 and the CE-marking. For use, the respective national provisions apply
