Penguard Express UHS is a two component polyamine cured epoxy coating. It is a fast drying, micaceous iron oxide (MIO) pigmented, high solids, high-build coating specially designed for new construction and fabrication yards where short dry-to-handle and overcoating times are critical. The declared product is surface tolerant and suitable for use as a maintenance coating where abrasive blast cleaning is not possible and quick turn around is required. It can be used as primer or mid-coat in a suitable coating system or as a finish coat or single coat system in atmospheric environments where chalking is not a concern. Penguard Express UHS is suitable for structural steel and piping to be exposed to highly corrosive environments, C5 (ISO 12944-2). Recommended for onshore environments, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings and mining equipment.
