EPD: Wood wool panels, L: 0.075W/mK, Thickness: 15-35 mm, 2400/200/1200/600 x 600, 460 kg/m3, 47% spruce pine, 52% Portland cement binder, Lambda=0.075 W/(m.K), ABE, AE (Celenit)
The CELENIT panels are made of spruce pine wood (47% in mass) coming from sustainable management forests (PEFC and FSC) and mineral binders (52% in mass), mainly Portland cement and marble sawdust. The wood wool is subjected to a mineralization treatment, which stops the biologic deterioration -while maintaining the same mechanical properties- makes the fibres inert and increases the fire resistence. The wood wool is coated with Portland cement, and bound together under pressure to form a stable, resistant, compact and durable structure. These characteristics make CELENIT a very versatile multi-purpose products for many building applications, thanks to: - The cellular structure of wood which gives the insulation panel lightness and elasticity; - The gaps between the fibres which gives sound absorption and the excellent ability to adhere to all forms of mortar; - The presence of Portland cement gives high resistance to water and frost and superior mechanical properties such as resistance to bending and compression and high fire resistance. The products included in the present Environmental products Declaration are the thermal and acoustic panels (unpainted and painted) ABE, AE, AB, A, NB and N with a thickness ranging from 0,015 m to 0,075 m. The products are compliant to the EN 13168 standard Thermal insulation products for buildings. Factory made wood wool (WW) products and to the EN 13964 Suspended ceilings. Requirements and test methods.
