Product characteristic: closers are UL Listed and characterized by: using a Norton 7700PT series door closer with a track containing a hold-open mechanism and a hook-up box with or without a smoke detector. When the door is opened manually to the stop position, the hold-open mechanism prevents the door from closing. When power is cut by the building fire alarm system or smoke is detected by the integral smoke detector, the hold-open mechanism releases and the door closes.
