The 90 Series surface mounted holders and stops are extremely versatile and can be used in conjunction with most surfaceapplied door closers. All models incorporate a heavyduty channel slidearm design and offset jamb bracket. This unique design allows for simple field modification of functions, should user requirements change. The provided templates allow for variable mounting positions, ranging from 85° to 110° hold open stop angle. These templates are designed for installation in almost all types of doors, including doors with conventional butttype hinges or specialty hinges. Overhead stop are available in a range of size for doors from 231 16in to 54in wide hung on standard butt hinges or pivots. The size represented in this EPD is 904S, sized for a door opening of 331 16 to 39 wide hung on standard butt hinges or pivots. Overhead stops are available in a range of opening functions friction holdopen and stop, holdopen and stop, and stop only. Because of the wide range of sizes, functions, and finishes available, this EPD presents results for the most common size based on sales volume. Based on the added weight of materials for certain door stop functions, this EPD only represents overhead closers with friction holdopen and stop and stoponly functions. All GlynnJohnson 90 Series options use brass or stainless steel for base materials in a range of finishes. Due to the small mass percentage of surface finishes relative to the overall product, results do not vary by more than 10percentage between GlynnJohnson 90 Series in different finishes. Results presented in this EPD are representative for all available finishes of GlynnJohnson 90 Series overhead stops in the 904 size. The standard application is one concealed overhead stop per standard 3 x 7 door leaf. This EPD presents results for this application. Specifically, the product is a specific product as an average from a single manufacturing plant.
